Called dealer and they claim it's normal and average a few calls on the issue every fall season. I'm going to contact Kawasaki and take to service to have it documented.

At first the dump bed lift pump did not work at all, but I had the motor rebuilt so the pump works now. The problem seems to be electrical. I can get the lift to go up, but not down. It could well be a clogged tank vent. If it is not the fuel tank vent that is stopping or slowing the fuel, then blow back through the fuel line that is connected to the pump. I have a 2510 Mule, I don't know the year - I'd guess it's a mid 90's. Since I have had it (about a year) it has always been a bit tricky shifting into gear. If the idle is not way down it will grind if you try to shift.
