I know the earlier TJs were 5/16". I can tell you for sure the stock 2006 TJ fuel pump I am using for my Hemi swap is 3/8" for sure. I ran an all new fuel line from the in-tank pump to my fuel rail without any other breaks in the line. I used a straight 3/8" connector at the tank and a 90 degree 3/8" at the fuel rail.
