Went and had a CO2 tank filled. And tried to carbonate a 2 liter bottle of water first with that cap. But when I turned the gas on, the tank gauge only showed a little over 500 psi, and the second line was not even going above 20 psi., Is hard to tell how long it will last is all depend how much you gonna use and how stable your water be and what size is your tank plus how heavy is planted. I have 18 tanks and I average anywhere from 2-4 months on 5.lb refill, some tanks I have 20.lb and they last up to half year .. I guess on the next 5lb tank I am going to have to keep track of how many kegs I get out of a tank but I know that this current tank has served at least 3 - ½barrels and numerous homebrew kegs, probably 6 - 8. I force carb and serve at ..., Hi! I bought a 5lb co2 tank and im using a carbonator cap to carbonate sodas. One guy told me it could make about 1500l of carbonated drink, but i think that sounds a bit high for a small 5lb tank. I would really want somebodys opinion on this. Thanks in advance
