It will be anouther month or so before I get my motor and I'm ordering a flip kit tomorrow witch will be here well before the motor., The 4l80e bone stock will handle any abuse a stock 6.0 can throw at it. If not then L96 + 6Lxx tranny, the L96 and 6l90 will probably take more work to integrate, so it'll be more expensive. The 6l90 (or 80) would just be awesome in a gmt400. As long as they're tuned well they're supposed to be stout. May 29, 2020. #9., I would just get a LS style 4L60E at a minimum. Personally I would ditch the 60E and get a 4L80E though. You could probably trade off the LS1 for an iron 6.0L too, which would work better for the swap. The truck accessories, intake and exhaust manifolds are an easier swap into a truck.
