I always use tempered glass on my phones. Whitestone on the P7P right now. All the OnePlus phones I had were covered with tempered glass also and the FP sensor still worked without issue. Therefore under screen FP sensors "should" still work without issue on Pixel phones also. Google just struggles with hardware for some reason!
