M. Mmhartman Discussion starter · May 22, 2017. I bought a 2012 chevy Malibu ltz just over a month ago. Well a week ago my air started blowing through the defrost vent only. I took it to dealership and theybsaid for the mode control motor to be fixed it'll we be $300. The actual part is only $44.
